Bad Boys of Subaru's line-up! The WRX and WRX STI Concise Rockets
March 28, 2014
Based on the modest Impreza compact saloon, these bad boys, the WRX and the swift WRX STI are new for 2015. Both share the same power techniques with turbocharger and all wheel drive but on the road behaviour is very unlike. The two cars get a refined interior and fresh styling. The hatchback versions are eliminated from the Subaru line-up in order to reduce development costs and this action really goes with the image of actual Subaru where two third sales of its all models in 2013 were directly related to saloon versions. The 2015 version of WRX is equipped with an optional continuously variable transmission for those who loath to struggle in the course of traffic with a manual and it is a fuel economical mechanism. Though WRX and STI use the Impreza as a point of reference, but they share inadequate features in terms of style, enhancement and powertrain. You can accurately feel the difference in just a glance; the WRX has all new sheet metal and offers a great road shredding moves and pleasurable driving experience, starts from only £27,000 with all aluminium bonnet and quad exhaust tips poke out the back, with destructive bumpers and puffy quarter panels round out the whole WRX. The STI led by the previous generation of 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine which is capable of making 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. It takes only 5.1 seconds to sprint from zero-to-60 mph, according to Subaru. However, WRX has same sized engine which was acquired from Forester to produce 268bhp and 258 Lb-Ft of torque. It is an increase of 3hp and 14lb-ft over previous 2.5 Litre engine in its predecessor. Subaru says this version will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
