Subaru Legacy Engine is a Capable Workhorse
March 14, 2013
The Japanese firm is famous for its petrol Subaru engines, but the new Subaru Legacy engine is its first Japanese oil-burner, and an engine this range desperately needs. This Subaru engine is available firstly in the Legacy Sport Tourer and Outback, the Subaru diesel engine is expected to be a hugely popular choice, and will account for most of the sales. It was also added to the new Subaru Impreza engine range in the beginning of 2009, where it claimed at least 40 per cent of models sold. Subaru 2.0 L diesel engine is smaller and more compact than the petrol motor. It’s fast, too, with a 0-60mph sprint time of 8.5 seconds. There’s lots of turbo-assisted torque and offers plenty of overtaking ability. The Subaru Legacy for sale is mated to a six-speed transmission which would make the most of the Subaru Legacy Outback engine flexibility. When economy figures are taken in to account the car becomes looks even more impressive. The Subaru Legacy engine returns nearly 50mpg with CO2 emissions of 151g/km.
