New Legacy comes with four exclusive trims; one of them is made for you
At the
Chicago Auto Show this year, Subaru presented a new model of 2015 Legacy to the world and proudly told about its advanced features and a new platform that they have used, although, the price has been kept a secret but not anymore. This summer the dealers will have this new all-wheel driver saloon and the starting price would be £13,365.
The new platform Subaru used in the Legacy is quieter than ever before and to some extent, larger than previous ones. New Subaru Legacy engines are more fuel efficient and been carried over from last generation and they are a 2.5-litre boxer-four-cylinder
Subaru Engine and 3.6-litre flat-six. Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and CVT comes as standard on all models.
There are four trims offered where the ‘2.5i Basic’ trim starts at £13,365 that comes standard with a 6.2-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth and iPod integration and more airbags than before. Bit higher is the ‘2.5i Premium’ trim that starts at £14,434 and offers impressive refinements with power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, a 7-inch infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel and many more.
If you go for an even higher trim, it’s the ‘2.5i Limited’ which will cost you £16,217 but you will enjoy the 18-inch wheels, leather interior, a wonderful Harmon/Kardon stereo, fog lamps, heated rear seats, wood grain trim and other spices. Well, if none of the above trims move you, there is the ‘3.6R Limited’ top spec Legacy that goes for £18,059 and gives you additional HID low beams as standard along with all other bits and pieces.
Other wonderful options that you would get are: keyless start, moonroof and navigation. A package known as “Subaru Eyesight” system will cost you £710 more but brings in Lane Change Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and intelligent fog lamps that turn on as you steer the car into the corners.
